Description
This
is a short course to help you better understand
what JUNIT is and how to test
your application in a way that allows you to find bugs.
If you enjoyed this presentation, you can find more written tutorials on
my her website. Alternatively, you can purchase other courses on testing Java
apps. If you really need one of my courses and
don't have the possibility to
purchase it, send me a message. We will
give you a free pass.
You will learn:
JUNIT Concepts - First write the code for your app, then identify what your code is missing. At the
end of this chapter, we will implement some tests that cover the entire functionality.
How to write automated tests with POSTMAN and build your own mock server. POSTMAN is most often used just to send requests to your
app, but in fact it has a lot of features to make your life easier
Mockito - Talk about ass/spies/mocks. We'll start by writing some tests
using stub/mock/spy for a simple Java app, then review the changes in
approach. I need this information to know exactly what to use when.
Wiremock - Learn how to build an app that uses the REST API client. The
entire
project can be downloaded at the end of the course.
