NLP for beginners
Welcome to the course Natural Language Processing with Pattern Libraries.
In this world of big data, we are provided with data in the form of text, audio, images, etc., and the need to make sense of such data arises.
In this lesson, you'll learn how to use the Patterns Library to analyze and understand processes and gain insight into some textual data. The
pattern library is a great open source library with great features to help you with your natural language processing tasks.
Natural Language Processing (NLP) is basically an approach for parsing and processing textual data. The pattern library helps you process and analyze text data such as: Data mining, searching URLs, performing sentiment analysis, tokenizing possible ngram sentences (splitting sentences into separate units) (n = 2, n = 3), lemmatization (words in their original state ), spell checking, plural usage, and singularization methods to pluralize or singularize text.
This course is designed to help you get started in Natural Language Processing (NLP). Learn how some basics work to support the tech programs we run on our phones and computers every day (auto-correction, text suggestions).
